HOORAY! For the first time since the federal government implemented No Child Left Behind (NCLB) in 2002, Gooding School District has accomplished a rare feat – we made AYP! Accountability results from the Idaho Department of Education indicate across-the-board academic improvements, and the first-ever report that the district is making Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP). Gooding School District was one of 13 districts out of 115 in Idaho that had never achieved all 41 targets needed to achieve AYP – but that all changed this year! Gooding was one of two districts that came off the list this year for never meeting AYP.
