9 PERFORMANCE CATEGORIES
Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence (BRSE) assists schools to determine how well they are doing in nine areas of critical performance that research says leads to educational excellence. Through a comprehensive, validated school assessment, the BRSE process creates a school-wide action plan that includes measurable student achievement. The program and process can result in the honor of receiving the Blue Ribbon Lighthouse School Award, which celebrates schools that excel in all nine-performance areas.
"The BRSE team assists the school community in identifying key academic and instructional strengths and weaknesses of their school. This enables the school community to initiate and implement a school-wide action plan for improving their academic and instructional program to ensure measurable academic achievement for all students. EdPower serves as a strategic partner that offers proven solutions to support the growth of the school in student achievement, teacher quality and parent engagement. The goal of a strategic partnership is to provide educators with high-quality services, tools, and resources to improve their schools and communities as well as provide partners with a broader level of access and visibility across BRSE programming, events, and marketing channels." - Judy Warden-Fields
